MEET JOHN

Hi, welcome to our site. My name is John Astill, I'm 73 years old and am a basically self taught woodworker. My romance with wood started when I was about 12 years old when, with my dad's help I carved myself a toy Tommy Gun, and has continued to grow since then.

Over the last 10 years or so our business allowed me to take a couple of days off each week to pursue this hobby, and also acted as a display and sales centre for the pieces I had created.

As will be evident when you review this catalogue of pieces, I love trying new ideas, designs, and concepts. I especially love working with clients to design and bring to life that which they want or need. The best reward I recieve are the compliments from people who have acquired pieces and take pleasure in them.
